It All Started With Apples
Our family has been growing apples in Nova Scotia for over 200 years. Today, we grow a variety of apples including Honeycrisp, Pazazz, Ambrosia, Red Prince, and Cortland. As the farm transitioned to the next generation of family ownership, new ideas like Red Fox Cider have blossomed.

The Red Fox Cider Dream
The cider journey started in 2022 with a dream to create something new on the family farm. Like the Red Fox that inspired our name, we were curious. So, we started imagining, experimenting…and fermenting. Our founder, Janet, gave herself permission to try new things and develop recipes with loads of personality and flavour. We believe in being bold, not boring, and it shines through in every batch.
In 2024, we built a production facility and tasting room on our farm, and we’ve introduced 5 Red Fox Cider varieties to the world. We’re just getting started, and our plan is to keep dreaming up new possibilities to delight cider enthusiasts

















What Makes Our Cider Different
We believe in keeping things simple, but also keeping them interesting. That’s our recipe for creating ciders that are cleverly crafted. Good things happen when you’re not afraid to try something new.

Quality Ingredients
We use locally grown apples, including the ones grown right on our farm. And we’re pretty picky about what goes in, making sure quality is the top priority.

Small Batches
We produce small batches that are made with care— not mass produced on a production line.

Originality
Unique apple variety combinations, plus new flavour creativity from tropical to hoppy elements = new cider experiences.


The Red Fox Cider Tasting Room
Come experience Red Fox Cider in its natural environment. Our tasting room and retail shop is now open on our farm. All of our flavours are on tap for tasting, and of course, available for you to take home.
